In need of sedation

I found out, mostly because I had an intuition that something was off, that J discharged herself against medical advice, and has gone home. Nobody even bothered informing me of this: I found out because I asked.

I don't know her medical condition and what was done in the past 4 days when she was in the hospital. Right now, I have to wonder if the baby would be safer out of her than in her, but we have to wait to talk to the OB to figure that out.

I have to take really deep breaths and pray that everything will be okay.

  3. Hang in there - I can't even imagine how hard it must be to have so little control over all this. I hope you get to talk to the OB soon and get some (hopefully reassuring) updates. UGH.

  8. I say keep off the sedatives for now. You might need all your faculties in the days/weeks to come.
I'm sorry this is unfolding not according to your wishes. I sincerely hope all is well with J and the baby.
FYI, I know we are talking about very different situations, but I was managed out of hospital for the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy even though my bp was very high. The beta-blocker helped and I continued to be monitored, which I hope will be true for J.
    Keep us posted.
